THINKING THE (IM)POSSIBLE

29-30 June 2015

We invite submissions by graduate students and young researchers to the FINO Graduate Philosophy Conference be held on 29th and 30th June 2015 at the University of Turin, Italy. This conference will offer an opportunity to present papers, get helpful feedback in a friendly atmosphere, and exchange ideas both with peers and with leading academics. In addition to the sessions devoted to accepted papers, the programme will include three plenary sessions. Our keynote speakers will be:

Timothy Williamson (University of Oxford)
Graham Priest (University of Melbourne, City University of New York)
Mark Sainsbury (University of Texas at Austin)

We welcome papers by graduate students and young researchers in any area of philosophy, but special consideration will be given to those on the topic Thinking the (im)possible. Presentations should take no longer than 20’, to allow at least 10’ of discussion. Submitted papers should be around 3000 words long, prepared for blind review and accompanied by a cover sheet with contact information and a 250 word abstract, to be sent by the 30th of November 2014.

Accepted papers will be notified by the end of February 2015. Conference registration is free, but speakers will have to cover their travel and accommodation. Please address all correspondence (including paper submissions and additional inquiries) to the email address graduateconference@unito.it
